It appears that the first screenshots from the new COD 2023 game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, have been leaked online. These screenshots are of low quality, and showcase remakes of the Terminal and Scrapyard multiplayer maps.
From what we know so far, Sledgehammer Games is working on this next part of the Modern Warfare series. And, if it follows the events of the original game, it will shock newcomers with something unexpected. Well, at least it was unexpected back in 2009 when the original MW2 game came out.
Anyway, as with all leaks, we suggest taking this with a grain of salt. Still, this does look like a legit leak. And I’m saying this because Activision issued a copyright strike to the original tweet that featured these images.
So, for obvious reasons, we won’t be hosting these leaked screenshots on our site. However, users have already uploaded them to Imgur, so we can at least share them with you.
Activision has not officially announced yet Modern Warfare 3. Rumors suggest that the game will release this November, so my guess is that we can expect an August reveal. Perhaps at Gamescom 2023?
