Mafia 3 – Update will add support for higher framerates, post-launch PC improvements planned [UPDATE]

Hangar 13 has issued an official statement about the state of Mafia 3’s PC version. According to the development team, an update will add support for higher framerates. 2K Games has released a new patch for BioShock: The Collection. According to the release notes, this patch makes Field-Of-View adjustable from 75 to 130, adds support for 21:9 resolutions, improves the mouse functionality and improves overall performance. Mafia 3 – PC version is locked at 30fps, PC graphics settings revealed

Earlier today, it was hinted that the PC version of Mafia 3 was locked at 30fps. While most assumed that this lock only affected the review code that was sent to a number of publications, we can now confirm that the retail/Steam version of Mafia 3 is indeed locked at 30fps. Mafia III gets a launch trailer

2K Games has released the launch trailer for Mafia III. Mafia III is set in the vast, diverse and seedy open-world reimagined New Orleans in which players take the role of Lincoln Clay; an orphan and Vietnam veteran hell-bent on revenge against the Italian Mafia for the brutal slaughter of the black mob, the closest thing to family he’s ever had.
