Modern Warfare 3 has been out for two weeks, and we felt the need to provide you with a performance analysis for it. The reason for our delay is quite simple; Activision hasn’t provided us with a review code, so we had to purchase it ourselves. This also explains why we’ve covered games like Jurassic Park and JANE’s Advanced Strike Fighters before most of triple-A games. When a publisher/developer sends us a review code, it will be covered immediately, whether it’s a triple-A game or not. Continue reading Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 PC Performance Analysis→

Admit it, you were disappointed with Blizzard’s decision to include brighter colors in Diablo 3. We bet that most of you wanted a grittier look and here comes FXAA Injector to save the day. In case the name rings any bell, we informed you about this Skyrim mod a few days ago as it enhances the game’s graphics with some amazing results. YouTube user ‘Pyloneer’ went ahead, tweaked and got it working for Blizzard’s hack n slash, so make sure to get it while you still can. We should note that at this point, we are not 100% sure if something like this is allowed by Blizzard or whether they count it as a “hack or cheat”. So use it at your own risk. And after Telltale, here comes Sledgehammer in an attempt to manipulate the MetaCritic score of Modern Warfare 3. What’s even funnier here though is that Glen Schofield, the general manager of Sledgehammer Games, tweeted and prompted the game’s fan to post great scores for Modern Warfare 3. So, instead of doing it himself, he kindly asked his fans and followers to do his dirty work. That’s hilarious and shows that everyone is so obsessed with a game’s score, even though that particular game sells like hot cakes. YouTube user ‘RiseDarthVader’ posted a great comparison between Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3. Both of these games are running with max details at 1080p and we can clearly notice that Modern Warfare 2 features better scripted-events. In addition, although both of them feature scripted destruction, Modern Warfare 3 has more ‘in-your-face’ destruction that – ironically – looks better than BF3’s Frostbite 2.0 effects. On the other hand, the lighting is way better in BF3, as well as the general image quality. Enjoy the comparison after the jump!
