Infinity Ward revealed today lots of details about Modern Warfare 3’s multiplayer mode. According to the developers, MW3 MP will be the most balanced Call of Duty experience and will sport more changes to the game than ever before. Activision released today the first multiplayer trailer of CoD: Modern Warfare 3. As we can see, MW3 will support new killstreaks, weapons and the kill mode is pretty much confirmed. Great news for everyone as Valve has just announced that Activision’s highly anticipated CoD game, Modern Warfare 3, will be using Valve’s Steamworks. This goes for both the retail and the digital versions and basically means that MW3 will support Steam cloud saving, offline play, auto-updating, downloadable content and achievements. Activision released today even more screenshots for their upcoming third person action game, Prototype 2. Prototype 2 takes the unsurpassed carnage of the original Prototype and continues the experience of becoming the ultimate shape-shifting weapon. As the game’s all-new infected protagonist, Sgt. Well, we had high hopes for Activision’s conference call. There were hints that a release date would be announced but no, Blizzard didn’t announce anything that we didn’t already know. Instead the company re-affirmed that the beta is still on schedule for Q3 2011. The company didn’t provide any release date for both the beta and the final version, although they are hard at work and hope to release it this year.
