Alan Wake 2 will have full Ray Tracing/Path Tracing on PC

NVIDIA and Remedy have announced that Alan Wake 2 will have full Ray Tracing (or in other words, Path Tracing) on PC. Powered by the Northlight Engine, this will be the second major triple-A current-gen game that will offer path tracing on modern-day GPUs (the first one was obviously Cyberpunk 2077). NVIDIA announces DLSS 3.5, Alan Wake 2 & Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty among the first games to support it

At Gamescom 2023, NVIDIA announced a new version of its deep learning super sampling technique, DLSS 3.5. DLSS 3.5 will focus on improving the quality of Ray Tracing in games, and the first three titles that will support it will be Alan Wake 2, Portal RTX and Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty. Remedy has released the first official 4K screenshots for Alan Wake 2, showcasing the capabilities of the Northlight Engine. Alan Wake 2 was one of the most impressive, graphics-wise, games that were shown at the PlayStation Showcase 2023, and these screenshots look absolutely stunning.
