AMD’s Ryzen 5 3600 CPUs are currently being sold in ‘Ryzen 3 3200G’ processor’s packaging In China

A rather strange incident has taken place recently in the Chinese local processor hardware market. Some AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6C/12T CPUs are being shipped in packaging meant for the weaker chips, like for example the Ryzen 3 3200G (which is a 4C/4T APU based on ‘Picasso’ silicon). AMD officially announces the availability of its 7nm Ryzen 3000XT ‘Matisse Refresh’ CPU family

AMD has officially announced the availability of its 7nm Ryzen 3000XT Matisse Refresh CPU family, the Ryzen 9 3900XT (3900X replacement), Ryzen 7 3800XT (3800X replacement) and lastly the Ryzen 5 3600XT (3600X replacement). AMD plans to refresh the 3000 lineup with these new SKUs. The XT models appear to be higher binned chip variants than the non-XT SKUs. AMD Ryzen 7 4700GE 8-core “Renoir” APU benchmarked and pictured for the first time

AMD is planning to launch their next-gen Ryzen 4000 Renoir desktop processors as a replacement of the existing Ryzen 3000 lineup of APUs. The 4000 ‘Renoir’ AM4 family is aimed for the desktop platform.
