AMD will fix, after all, the DX9 crashing issues in an upcoming hotfix
Yesterday, we informed you about a ridiculous statement from one of AMD’s technical support engineers who claimed that the newly introduced crashing issues on some DX9 wouldn’t be addressed via a future update. AMD will, most likely, not address the DX9 crashing issues introduced by the Adrenalin driver
Back in December, AMD released a brand new driver for its graphics cards, the AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition. This new driver brought some new functionalities such as a new Overlay feature (default ALT+R) allowing management of certain Radeon Settings features while in-game or on desktop such as Radeon ReLive, Radeon FreeSync, Radeon Chill, Frame Rate Target Control, Display Color, and Performance Monitoring. However, it appears that this driver also broke compatibility with some older DX9 titles.
