Wolfenstein 2 & Far Cry 5 will support AMD’s RX Vega exclusive feature, Rapid Packed Math
AMD and Ubisoft revealed that both Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and Far Cry 5 will support Rapid Packed Math; a new feature that is – at least for now – exclusive to AMD’s latest RX Vega graphics cards. According to the developers, Rapid Packed Math allows a graphics card to execute two math instructions for the price of one. AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 – First official benchmark shows AMD’s GPU beating NVIDIA’s GTX1080 FE in DOOM
AMD has revealed the first official benchmark for its new graphics card, the AMD RX Vega 64. According to the benchmark, this new GPU is around 10fps faster than NVIDIA’s GTX1080 Founder’s Edition and around 16fps faster than the AMD Fury X in DOOM. DudeRandom84 has benched the AMD Radeon Vega Frontier Edition in PREY and Rise of the Tomb Raider, and shared his results (which are really interesting). AMD will showcase its upcoming RX Vega GPU to the public for the first time on July 18th
AMD has announced that it will let the public get its hands on its new RX Vega graphics card in Budapest on July 18th. As AMD noted, on Tuesday, July 18 from 2 to 7 PM, it will be transforming the Akvárium Klub into a PC gaming zone in which it will be bringing rigs powered by Radeon RX Vega with today’s most popular games for gamers to try.
