Anthem update 1.0.4 is available for download, full patch release notes revealed

Electronic Arts and Bioware have finally released a new major and highly anticipated patch for Anthem. According to the release notes, patch  1.0.4 adds support for NVIDIA’s DLSS, adds a Field of View slider, adds support for NVIDIA’s Highlights and improves performance on gameplay effects that were updating or running often to reduce performance strain. NVIDIA GeForce 419.67 WHQL driver is optimized for Battlefield 5 Firestorm, Sekiro and Anthem DLSS

NVIDIA has released a brand new driver for its graphics cards. According to the release notes, the NVIDIA GeForce 419.67 WHQL driver is optimized for the battle royale Firestorm mode for Battlefield 5, the upcoming DLSS version of Anthem, the recently released ray tracing effects for Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Anthem patch 1.04 will add a FOV slider and DLSS support, will remove loading when getting into the Forge

Electronic Arts and Bioware have revealed some of the changes, improvements and enhancements that will be coming to Anthem via its upcoming patch. Do note that these are not the only improvements that are coming to Anthem (according to Bioware the full release notes for its upcoming patch are 13 pages). Bioware responds to Anthem’s loot drop controversy with latest update

A few days ago, we wrote that a subset of Anthem players were threatening to boycott the game should Bioware fail to address the unsatisfactory manner in which rare loot items were being dropped. In response, Bioware has since implemented an update for Anthem which increases the chances for players to receive ‘Masterwork’ and ‘Legendary’ loot items. Anthem players threaten boycott

A Reddit post by user ‘Afinda’ is gaining an astounding level of response after it implored Anthem players to  boycott the game from the eleventh of March until the fifteenth. Much like players who tried to draw attention to the issues For Honor faced at launch, the thread calls for unified action against the scant manner in which the game drops rare loot items, with the expectation that Bioware addresses their concerns immediately. Bioware producer confident in studio’s future following Anthem’s critical reception

After Twitter user by the name of HuskersEcho voiced concerns on Bioware’s future in lieu of the disappointing reception received by Anthem, lead producer from Bioware, Michael Gamble, personally addressed the user’s concerns.
