We seriously don’t know whether we should be excited about the following news or not. You see, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier PC was advertised as a great PC port from Ubisoft and what we got was an un-optimized console port that had major CPU issues/limitations. Not only that, but the DX11 features that were added were not polished and it took Ubisoft a couple of months to fix a number of performance issues. Therefore, the fact that Assassin’s Creed 3 will support DX11 features and higher resolution textures is both a good and a bad sign. We assume we are not the only ones believing that DLC is the cancer of gaming and should be eradicated as soon as possible. You see, back in the days developers provided users with modding tools to create their own content and share it with other players. But since the introduction of this DLC crap, we’ve been getting unimpressive and cash-in additional contents, with some of them being cut from the actual games. And it seems that Ubisoft will be investing on this whole DLC thing as they have dedicated a whole dev team to it.
