AMD has released a new set of WHQL drivers for its graphics cards. The red team has not released any changelog at the time of writing, but we’ll be sure to update the story the moment it does. According to Guru3D’s member ‘Seren’, this new driver is around a week older than 13.10 beta, and they are on the 150 branch. In short, some frame pacing improvements that are available on the latest beta driver may be missing from this WHQL driver. But then again, a lot of users prefer the WHQL drivers over the Beta ones. AMD has finally released the highly anticipated drivers for its graphics cards. Catalyst 13.8 Beta mainly fix the latency issues that have plagued the entire HD 7000 series. This means that the stuttering issues that have been reported in the past few months should be fixed. AMD users can enable/disable the frame pacing fix from their control panels. By default, this option is set On. AMD noted that this option may bring a slight performance drop, so those interested in benchmarking these new drivers should disable it. AMD announced today some new titles that will be part of its ‘Gaming Evolved’ program. Among those titles we can find Thief, CryEngine 3-powered Shadow of the Eternals and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. AMD has released a new beta driver for its graphics cards. According to the changelog, the sixth beta version of AMD’s Catalyst 13.2 resolves minor anti-aliasing corruption seen in Crysis 3 and improves Hitman Absolution Crossfire scaling.
