Avalanche Studios announced that its gorgeous looking free-to-play title, theHunter, will be getting a multiplayer mode in 2013. Although the company did not reveal much, we know that the alpha testing registrations for this new mode will open on April 8th, and you can view a new trailer for it – that is focused on this new mode – below. Moreover, each game of this new mode is said to feature up to 8 players, and its first iteration is strictly co-op. Avalanche revealed that in future updates, competitive play will also be supported. Avalanche Studios, the team behind Just Cause series and Renegade Ops, revealed that Just Cause 2 would have a multiplayer mode, provided the company had more budget and extra time on its hands.
