Great news for PC gamers as Capcom and Codemasters are going – or at least planning – to remove GFWL from their titles. As Codies revealed, it was really impressed with what 2K Games had done to Bioshock 2, thus the team is looking into removing GFWL and replacing with Steamworks. Though there is nothing concrete at this moment, it is obvious that both of the aforementioned companies are willing to step in and free their games from GFWL before it’s too late (GFWL services will be discontinued on July 2014). Feral Interactive today announced that Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition, the critically-acclaimed action adventure game, will be released for the Mac this November. Developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Harley Quinn’s Revenge Pack, the final chapter of Batman: Arkham City saga that adds more than two hours of fresh single-player gameplay to the critically-acclaimed title from Rocksteady Studios. Warner Bros and Rocksteady have released a new update for the PC version of Batman: Arkham City. This update comes with fixes to the game’s Save File Corruption, Crossfire/SLI improvements, better performance, as well as fixes to Graphical flickering. The update is currently available to all digital versions of Batman: Arkham City PC and will be auto-downloaded next time you start the Steam client. Good news for Batman fans as Rocksteady has a new patch for the PC version of Batman: Arkham City. Although we don’t have enough info about it, we do know that this patch will address the stuttering cut-scene issue that some players have experienced and – most probably – the game’s DX11 performance. According to Sarah Wellock, Rocksteady’s European Community Manager, the patch is with G4WL for submission and awaits Microsoft’s certification.
