We’ve seen in the past FXAA Injector in action with Bethesda’s RPG but did you know that you can get it working in Battlefield 3? Not only that, but the end result can be pretty amazing. Contrary to the in-game FXAA method, this custom one includes a sharpening filter that helps with the overall image quality. Moreover, players can adjust the colors and make no mistake guys, saturation and contrast can make a big difference to the game’s visuals. I’ve said it before and will say it again; it was a really bad move to force both Origin and Battlelog in order to enjoy Battlefield 3. And as you’d expect, the PC gaming community has come up with some ways to override these obstacles. Well… sort of as the way to override Origin is illegal. Still, PC gamers have that option and it’s quite disturbing that we have to rely on crackers – yeah that’s right. We are now relying on crackers to fix our games – to simply enjoy the games we bought. Oh, the horror. Continue reading Enjoy Battlefield 3 without Origin or Battlelog using your browser→
YouTube user ‘RiseDarthVader’ posted a great comparison between Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3. Both of these games are running with max details at 1080p and we can clearly notice that Modern Warfare 2 features better scripted-events. In addition, although both of them feature scripted destruction, Modern Warfare 3 has more ‘in-your-face’ destruction that – ironically – looks better than BF3’s Frostbite 2.0 effects. On the other hand, the lighting is way better in BF3, as well as the general image quality. Enjoy the comparison after the jump! Back to Karkand is just around the corner, so here is a compilation admiring the beauty of the Frostbite 2.0. This fan-made video looks awesome and even better than the official trailer. As we can see, Back to Karkand will feature extended destruction which is a big plus in our books. The video was made by BattlefieldoTV’s Erik aka BFO-Stadler. Enjoy everyone! One of the most annoying things in Battlefield 3 is definitely the flashlight effect, an annoying and unrealistic effect that DICE has added. After a lot of complains, the company has promised to tweak it and today, the Core Gameplay Designer on Battlefield 3, Alan Kertz, released a comparison between the default flashlight the tweaked one that will be featured on the upcoming update of Battlefield 3. The default flashlight is on the left, whereas the tweaked one is on the right. No release date has been announced for Battlefield 3’s next patch, so stay tuned for more. Enjoy! Now this is just epic. YouTube user ‘birgirpall’ uploaded a new, hilarious video, of Battlefield 3. Each and every kill in this video is simply beyond words and shows how unpredictable BF3 can actually get. On the other hand, I bet that those who were killed in this video were not amuzed. Well, it’s what we say a ‘double-edged coin’. This will certainly make your day, so go ahead and watch it. Trust us, birgirpall has a great sense of humor. Kudos also to Rage 3D’s user ‘spindoctor’ for spotting it! Continue reading Battlefield 3 – Operation Douchebag→
