And it’s official everyone – Battlefield 4 will be unveiled on this year’s GDC. Electronic Arts and DICE sent today some invitations for a Battlefield 4 event that will be held on March 26th. As the invitation confirms, we’ll be getting our first look on the next-era of Battlefield, meaning that EA and DICE may showcase Battlefield 4 on PC or PS4. A couple of hours ago, gamers were jumping up and down when some rumored screenshots of Battlefield 4 hit the Net. Everyone was amazed by the visuals, however these are nothing more than shots from a cinematic trailer for BF3 that was created a year ago. Yeap, these are not images from Battlefield 4. As we can clearly see, Creative Studios had created a cinematic trailer for W+K and Electronic Arts. Sadly, BF4 won’t look this good. Well, we all know that Sony is holding a meeting tomorrow, in which the Japanese company might reveal Playstation 4. It appears that someone managed to hack Battlelog last night. At around 3:30 PM EST games were unable to be joined and the poll at the bottom of Battlelog was for BF4 beta. The interesting thing here is that the poll featured an option with which the hacker could still someone’s password, meaning that you should change your password if you were among those who were fooled. Okay Battlefield fans, time for some rumors about the fourth part of this acclaimed series. ChipHell‘s member ‘Archangel’ has shared some new details about DICE’s upcoming FPS title, details that are said to be coming straight from EA’s chinese team that participated in an internal Battlefield 4 conference. During that conference, the alpha version of Battlefield 4 was showcased and according to the American employees of the chinese department, Battlefield 4 is powered by Frostbite 2 and will stress this engine at 80% (it was said that Battlefield 3 pushed only 30-40% of what the engine is capable of). And it’s official everyone. Electronic Arts sent us a press release regarding Battlefield 4’s beta phase. According to the publisher, the beta phase for DICE’s next FPS game will begin in Autumn 2013, so we can safely say that it will be around October or November. In addition, EA has released a new documentary video for MOH: Warfighter that can be viewed below. Oh, and remember that BF4 banner on MOH: Warfighter’s pre-order page in Origin? It’s back as EA officially announced today access to Battlefield 4’s beta to players that pre-order Medal of Honor: Warfighter Limited Edition prior to the game’s launch on Oct. 23. Two F’ ups in a single day? Now that’s really something. A couple of hours ago, we informed you about BF4’s banner in the Origin pre-purchase page of Medal of Honor: Warfighter. Electronic Arts was quick enough to respond and remove it. Battlefield’s Twitter team on the other hand debunked the BF4 rumors by stating that if there isn’t anything in Battlefield.com, then it is not real. However, the team decided to completely remove that post and replace with one that hints at BF4. Seems that Electronic Arts has made a terrible mistake and revealed something that might disappoint all BF3 fans. According to Origin’s pre-purchase page of MOH: Warfighter, Battlefield 4 is under development and those who decide to pre-order the Digital Deluxe edition of MOH: Warfighter will gain access to its beta phase.
