During a presentation at Gamescom 2018, DICE’s developers confirmed that Battlefield 5 was running with rock solid 60fps at 1080p with NVIDIA’s real-time ray tracing features enabled. This is perhaps the first game that runs at 60fps with NVIDIA’s real-time ray tracing effects as Shadow of the Tomb Raider had major performance issues and Metro Exodus targets 1080p/60fps for its final release. Battlefield 5 Open Beta begins on September 6th
DICE has announced that the Battlefield V Open Beta will begin on September 4th for early access owners and September 6th for all players on Origin for PC. The Open Beta will showcase the soon-to-be-iconic Rotterdam map on Conquest mode as well as the Arctic Fjord map on both Conquest and Grand Operations. DICE and Electronic Arts have announced that the second closed alpha testing for Battlefield 5 will begin on August 14th.
