Rumor: The Evil Within PC May Be Locked At 30FPS

The Evil Within may very well turn into the worst PC game (at least when it comes to the overall quality of the PC version) of 2014. After those ridiculous system requirements, a new rumor arose yesterday, suggesting that the PC version may be locked at 30fps. And what’s even funnier is that Bethesda has not yet commented on those rumors, suggesting that this may very well be legit. Continue reading Rumor: The Evil Within PC May Be Locked At 30FPS

The Evil Within – Fight For Your Life Trailer

The game is powered by id Tech 5 and will be interesting to see whether it will support SLI, and whether it will demand huge amounts of VRAM for textures that – at least from what we’ve seen thus far – do not even come close to those of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter. Enjoy! Continue reading The Evil Within – Fight For Your Life Trailer

Skyrim Modded Still Gives Current-Gen Open World Games A Run For Their Money

It’s been almost a year since the release of current-gen consoles and surprisingly enough, the PC modded version of Skyrim still gives current-gen open world games a run for their money. To put it simply; modders have been able to overhaul Bethesda’s RPG to the point that it can rival – and even surpass – games releasing one generation afterwards. We certainly hope that ‘truly’ current-gen open world games will look better than this (or those that have been released thus far), so here is hoping that developers will learn something from the works of these guys. Enjoy! Continue reading Skyrim Modded Still Gives Current-Gen Open World Games A Run For Their Money

The Evil Within – PC Recommended System Requirements, 4GB of VRAM, I7 CPU, 50GB Of Free HDD Space

Bethesda has announced that The Evil Within has gone gold and has revealed the recommended PC requirements for it. Unless I’m missing something, there is something fishy here. I mean, this game requires an I7 with GPUs of 4GB VRAM. What in the bloody F? Unless all the screenshots that have been released this past months are not indicative at all of the PC version, then I cannot understand why this game requires GPUs with 4GB of VRAM.
