Bioshock: Infinite is a great game with an amazing art style. But have you ever wondered what a pixelated, retro and 32-bit version of it would look like? If so, here is Bioshock: Infinite’s Columbia, recreated in Minecraft. Okay okay, it’s not in 32-bit but this is as close to it as we can possibly can get. Those interested can download the map from here. We should also note that the following video, courtesy of YouTube’s volx1337 uses a modified version of Ornate 5 32x’s Texture Pack and Chocapic13’s shaders. Enjoy! A lot of gamers believe that SweetFX is not worth your effort. Well, we are strongly against that logic. We believe that SweetFX can enhance each and every game, and since Bioshock: Infinite has just been released – and has a unique art style – we kind of wondered whether we could boost the game’s visuals a bit while retaining its wonderful art style. Bioshock: Infinite has been released and it’s time to see how Irrational Games’ title performs on the PC platform. Bioshock: Infinite is the third part in the Bioshock franchise and this time around, Irrational Games did not repeat its earlier mistakes and decided to take advantage of the PC hardware. This means that the PC version comes with higher resolution textures than its console counterparts, as well as with some exclusive DX11 features. Bioshock: Infinite is a DX10/DX11 only title, and Irrational has also implemented an in-game FOV slider, so kudos to the company for at least listening to the PC crowd. Bioshock fans, we got some bad news for you today. It appears that the PC version of Bioshock: Infinite suffers from auto-aim assist while entering the iron sight mode. At first, this bug was reported to be present once players plugged in a gamepad, however this issue can be spotted even if you’ve never used a gamepad (as we’ve encountered it ourselves during our playthrough). This issue/bug seems like a leftover from the console version, as this auto-aim assist is something common for most console games. In order to fix it, PC gamers will have to start the game with a controller plugged in, disable aiming assist in the Controller Options and unplug the controller. You can find a video demonstration below, and we should note – once again – that this bug is present even if you haven’t used a gamepad before. It seems that this week’s “SimCity” story will be dedicated to Bioshock: Infinite. In an awkward turn of events, 2K Games allowed IGN to break its review embargo for Irrational Games’ upcoming title and post a ‘in-progress’ review of it. Naturally, this exclusivity frustrated a lot of video-game journalists. In those frustrated journalists we can even find Geoff Keighley and Polygon’s Arthur Gies. Award-winning composer Garry Schyman has created a unique musical score for the highly anticipated video game BioShock Infinite developed by Irrational Games and published by 2K Games. Recorded with solo string instruments, intimate string ensembles, and experimental percussion, Schyman’s raw and intensely emotional score reflects BioShock Inifinite’s compelling narrative, following the development of the relationship between the lead characters, Booker DeWitt and Elizabeth, and immersing players in the game’s spectacular alternate early Twentieth Century setting.
