Mass Effect 3 Patch 4 Changelog Revealed, Planned For Release This Thursday

BioWare has revealed the changelog of Mass Effect 3’s latest patch that is planned for release this Thursday. This update fixes various issues, re-designs the Singularity power, fixes an exploit that allowed players to be invincible and invisible to enemies and another one where players were able to use rockets from other weapons. Mass Effect Trilogy Will Not Include All DLCs Released

Now this is big bummer for all those interested in the upcoming trilogy package of Mass Effect. BioWare has updated the official website of Mass Effect Trilogy, stating that most of the SP missions that were released in the form of DLCs won’t be featured in this so called ‘complete’ package. Ray Muzyka backs fans up: “Journalists speculating on ill-founded rumors should reassess approach”

Surprise surprise. Yesterday we posted an Editorial on whether we should blame fans for Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk’s decision to leave BioWare and the games industry. As we said, we believe that fans are not to be blamed as those are the ones that made this company what it is today. Fans had valid points about ME3 – and the latest BioWare titles – and Ray Muzyka is of the same opinion, as he revealed that fans speak with ‘deep‘ and ‘honest passion‘ about their games. Two weeks ago, we wondered whether EA was to be blamed for the resignation of BioWare’s founders, Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk. Interestingly enough, today NowGamer has unveiled an interview in which Trent Oster suggested that the negative fan reaction to Mass Effect 3 and Star Wars: The Old Republic were things that pushed Ray and Greg into leaving the gaming industry. BioWare is working on a brand new IP, Mass Effect 3 Omega DLC revealed, new Mass Effect game incoming

Our reader ‘GhostRiderLSOV’ has spotted some new information about BioWare’s plans that were included in Aaryn Flynn’s blog post about the resignation of BioWare’s co-founders. According to Aaryn, BioWare is currently working on a new DLC for Mass Effect 3 called Omega DLC, as well as some new MP and SP content and stories. Is EA to be blamed for BioWare’s poor image and the resignation of its co-founders?

The whole gaming industry was shocked a couple of hours ago, when BioWare announced that its co-founders were leaving the company. The reason behind Ray Muzyka’s resignation was as typical as ever. Ray stated that he wanted to move on to pursue an entirely different set of challenges. What really striked us, though, was  Greg Zeschuk excuse. Greg said that he reached an unexpected point in his life where he no longer has the passion that he once did for the company, for the games, and for the challenge of creation. BioWare’s Co-Founders ‘Greg Zeschuk’ & ‘Ray Muzyka’ Are Leaving The Company

Now this is huge. Today, BioWare co-founders Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk have announced they are retiring from BioWare. Greg has admitted that he reached an unexpected point in his life where he no longer has the passion that he once did for the company, for the games, and for the challenge of creation. In “Terror from Beyond”, you will be called upon to face a mysterious new threat that’s emerged from one of the most obscure places in the galaxy: the Gree planet of Asation.
