BioWare and Electronic Arts have announced that Mass Effect 3’s Earth DLC – for the PC version – is now available on Origin. Mass Effect 3: Earth is a free DLC that adds three new maps based on three key cities in the galactic war – London, Vancouver and Rio De Janeiro. In addition, players will be introduced to a whole new team of elite N7 forces who will be dispatched to protect civilization, along with an arsenal of lethal new weapons, unique upgrades, the all-new Platinum difficulty level and a brand new in-mission objective. BioWare and Electronic Arts have revealed a new free-to-play title that will be based on the Ultima series, called Ultima Forever. According to the companies, the first great Western RPG has been lovingly restored in Ultima Forever, meaning that players will be able to return to the Ultima series in BioWare’s new cross-platform action RPG. Players can choose between a Fighter and a Mage, and travel alone or with friends, in order to restore virtue and become the Avatar. Mass Effect 3’s ending left some questions unanswered and that’s precisely why BioWare decided to release the Extended Cut DLC for it. And although the free DLC answered a lot of questions, it didn’t reveal whether that figure in the ‘Destroy’ ending was actually Shepard or not. BioWare has finally released the Extended Cut DLC for Mass Effect 3 and to our surprise, it does answer most of the major questions and plot holes that were introduced in the final five minutes. As we thought, the Extended Cut focuses on Shepard’s companions and shows some scenes to explain things that confused ME3’s fans. However, there are still some major plot holes that have been not answered and that’s a major blow to BioWare. Not only that, but the Indocrination theory – a theory that explained a lot of all those unanswered questions – has been blown out of the water as the company included various cut-scenes to prove that Shepard was not indocrinated.
