BioWare revealed that a new update will be released today for the PC version of Mass Effect 3. This new update features fixes various issues and adds a feature to remove AFK players after a set amount of inactivity and a cooldown to Ops Survial consumable. In addition, ammo consumables were tweaked with insta-reload and damage bonus. Electronic Arts announced the next downloadable content pack for Mass Effect 3 that will be shortly available for download. Mass Effect 3: Rebellion Pack will be available to download at no additional charge – if you have bought/activated an online pass – and will add two brand-new maps, a new team objective and a new equipment slot to the game’s critically-acclaimed cooperative experience. The Mass Effect 3: Rebellion Pack will also introduce new unlockable characters, including the Vorcha, ex-Cerberus operatives and Male Quarians. Also available are all new weapons and items that can be obtained through reinforcement packs in the game’s multiplayer store. Great news for all Mass Effect and anime fans, as BioWare will collaborate with Production IG (creators of Ghost in the Shell and Kill Bill: Vol.1) for a new, upcoming anime that will be based on Mass Effect 3. This anime will be called Mass Effect: Paragon Lost and follows the early career of Alliance Marine, James Vega. Vega leads an elite Special Forces squad into battle against a mysterious alien threat known as The Collectors. BioWare released Game Update 1.2: Legacy, the highly anticipated content update for Star Wars: The Old Republic. This massive update delivers an incredible amount of new high level gameplay content for players and also includes the evolution of the Legacy System, a feature that ties all of your characters together into one family, regardless of class or faction, and allows them to unlock custom new abilities. Game Update 1.2 will also include some of the communities’ most sought-after game enhancements including user interface customization and guild banks along with gameplay and balancing fixes. At this year’s PAX East, Creative Director Mike Laidlaw revealed some interesting new information about the upcoming third part of the Dragon’s Age series. BioWare and Electronic Arts have released a new update for Mass Effect 3. This patch fixes – among other things – the face import issue that some gamers have experienced. In addition, the update fixes several crashes, an issue when an unresponsive game state could occur during transition after the Conduit level and an issue when saves from different accounts on the same computer could get locked.
