Blizzard has rolled out a new patch for the beta version of Diablo III and here are its v.0.5.0.8059 notes, where lots of changes were made and RMAH is currently disabled. Blizzard has temporarily disabled the currency-based auction house in order to resolve an issue affecting successful bids and buyouts. There is no ETA at this time for when the AH will be back online, but Blizzard anticipate at least a few hours of downtime. The changelog is huge and can be viewed bellow. We’ve seen various release dates for Diablo III, so here comes a new one from another online shop. According to Target.com, Diablo III will be released on February 7th. In case the date rings any bells, it’s the Valentine’s day and – wait for it – it’s on Tuesday. Now this could be possible, as most major game releases are happening on Tuesdays. However, we are uncertain of the date as Blizzard hasn’t announced any official one, so take that with a grain of salt. Patch 4.3: Hour of Twilight features something for everyone. Admit it, you were disappointed with Blizzard’s decision to include brighter colors in Diablo 3. We bet that most of you wanted a grittier look and here comes FXAA Injector to save the day. In case the name rings any bell, we informed you about this Skyrim mod a few days ago as it enhances the game’s graphics with some amazing results. Blizzard released a new patch for their acclaimed hack n slash action RPG, Diablo 2. Yeap, you read that right. Blizzard is still supporting this bad boy and this latest patch fixes numerous bugs, including the annoying duplication method and the one which allowed players to stack their auras in an unusual way, rather than Blizzard had intended. Chris “Freespace” Ciocotisan and StarCraft Legacy released a few days ago a new, fan-made cinematic called StarCraft: Final Metamorphosis. StarCraft: Final Metamorphosis depicts several scenes from the events occurring before and during the Brood War era. It was created, like First Contact, to cinematically recreate canonical lore scenes from the games, the books, and other parts of the extended universe and hopefully, for 7 minutes and 30 seconds entertain you, by taking you once more into the heart of the war-torn Koprulu Sector. This is a drooling CG cinematic – albeit the characters’ animations that are not up to the standards of Blizzard’s CG movies. Still, for a one-man work, this is simply fantastic. Enjoy! As promised, Blizzard released the new CG trailer for Diablo III and let us tell you that it looks phenomenal. Well, this is Blizzard we are talking about so it’s only natural to be impressed by these cinematic trailers. And I’ll be serious on this; Some might say that they can’t wait to get their hands on it, but my thoughts were quite different. Personally, I can’t wait untill we get games that look as spectacular as this one. We are seriously stuck right now – partially due to consoles – and seriously now, imagine the potentials when we get graphics plus environment destructibility and interactivity like those that are featured in this CG trailer.
