Bohemia provides further details about the Lemnos incident, launches community support website

Bohemia Interactive has provided us with some additional information about the arrest of its two employees. According to the company, Ivan Buchta and Martin Pezlar visited the island as tourists and took photographs and videos in public areas, like most tourists do. These included a short video as they drove through the main road passing around the international airport, where in one short part of the video off in the distance some hangars and other buildings of the complex can be seen. Carrier Command: Gaea Mission – Gameplay Demonstration

Bohemia Interactive has released a video demonstration for Carrier Command: Gaea Mission. Carrier Command: Gaea Mission promises to offer a breathtaking combination of action game with strategic elements. As a battle-hardened member of the United Earth Coalition, Lt Myrik is put in command of an armed vehicle carrier. By traversing the seas and establishing a network of island bases, he sets out to hunt down the Asian Pacific Alliance and conquer the Dead Zone on the planetoid Taurus. Bohemia Interactive issues an official statement about the Lemnos incident – “we always respect the law”

Bohemia Interactive has issued an official statement about the arrest of its two employees from the Greek authorities on Lemnos. According to the company’s CEO, Marek Spanel, two of Bohemia Interactive’s employees were arrested during their holiday trip to Lemnos. Contrary to previous reports, Bohemia states that they visited the island with the sole purpose of experiencing the island’s beautiful surroundings and not for capturing new footage for ArmA 3. Two Czech men arrested at Limnos island by the Greek police; claim to be members of Bohemia Interactive

Now this is a really weird story. Earlier yesterday, two Czech men were arrested at Limnos island by the Greek police. According to the police reports, it seems that these Czech guys were taking photographs of Limnos’ military bases, something that is prohibited in Greek islands. However, these Czech guys claimed to be members of Bohemia Interactive and stated that they were taking photos for their upcoming military FPS title, ArmA III. Great news for ArmA 2 fans, as Bohemia’s military sim game is now available on GOG and is DRM-free. ARMA 2: Combined Operations includes both ARMA 2 and ARMA 2: Operation Arrowhead, and an intuitive and powerful mission editor. Not only that, but this game will give you the chance to play one of the best zombie mods available right now, DayZ. Yes, DayZ will be developed as a standalone game and we are pretty sure that a lot of gamers are waiting for that particular version. ArmA 3 – Gamescom 2012 Screenshots

Bohemia Interactive has released some new Gamescom 2012 screenshots for its upcoming military sim first person shooter title, ArmA 3. As always, ArmA 3 looks great, though we are kind of spoiled by Crytek’s work with Crysis 3 textures. On the other hand, ArmA 3 has bigger environments that are based on a real-life locations, with more advanced balistics and the ability to fly jets and helicopters in them. DayZ Officially Goes Standalone

At long last. Dean Hall has just announced that DayZ will be developed as a stand-alone game by Bohemia Interactive, with him as the project lead. This is amazing as it proves our earlier claims that DayZ is the modern-day Counter-Strike. Yes, these two mods share different themes but the impact they had in the gaming industry was identical.
