Project Reality Team has announced that the first beta of their Project Reality: ARMA 2 modification is out now. According to the team, this initial beta release should not be considered a final product. It should also be noted that this is v0.1 of a brand new mod on a new game engine and should not be compared in anyway to their previous Project Reality: BF2 modification. It’s quite refreshing looking at a title for a niche market. But then again, this is Bohemia Interactive, the company who gave us Operation Flashpoint and the ArmA series so it’s only natural to expect special things from them. One of their upcoming games is Take On Helicopters, a flight helicopter sim game. Bohemia Interactive released today a bunch of new screenshots and as always, they look lovely. Especially that screenshot with the plane clearly showcases that ArmA 3 can push better visuals than those of BF3. And the attention to detail on Nikos Panagopoulos’ character is astounding. ArmA 3 sports spectacular visuals and might be the best visually – and most demanding – PC game. The game is slated for release next year, exclusively on the PC.
