Infinity Ward has detailed the day-1 update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. According to the release notes, this patch will bring some tweaks to Ground War, and spawning tweaks in Core Multiplayer. It appears that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will not feature any Supply Drops or Loot Boxes.
