Resident Evil 7 Demo – New patch improves HBAO+ performance, adds support for CPUs without SSE4.1

Capcom has released a patch for the PC demo of Resident Evil 7. According to the release notes, this patch adds support for CPUs without SSE4.1 (AMD Phenom and Intel Core2 series) and improves HBAO+ performance. Resident Evil 7: Beginning Hour – 4K Screenshots

Capcom has released the PC demo for Resident Evil 7 and below you can find some 4K screenshots from it. The PC demo of Resident Evil 7 looks and runs great. Capcom has implemented numerous graphics settings to tweak, and given its slow-paced nature, the game is playable (20-30fps) in 4K even on a single GTX980Ti. Dead Rising 4 – PC Performance Analysis

Dead Rising 4 released last week and passed under everyone’s radar. One of the reasons this happened is… well… quite simple. Microsoft and Capcom decided to release it as a time-exclusive title on Windows Store. As such, PC gamers can only purchase it via Microsoft’s store, and we all know that a lot of gamers boycott it.
