A couple of weeks ago, Capcom released a benchmark tool for Resident Evil 6. Even though this tool was a stress test and nothing more, a lot of PC gamers got worried with those low framerates they’ve been witnessing. Fast forward and here we are today with the final build of the game that is nowhere as demanding as the stress tool. In other words, there is no reason to worry as your ranking is what most of you should be focusing on. Continue reading Resident Evil 6 – PC Performance Analysis→
A new entry of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen appeared out of nowhere on the German store of GameStop. According to this listing, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen will be coming to the PC, though there is no release date as of yet for it. We know that a lot of PC gamers will be overwhelmed with joy after hearing this, however you should not count on GameStop’s listing for possible leaks. After all, the German store has Prey 2 coming on October 13th, 2013, meaning that this could simply be a placeholder and nothing more. Last week, we informed you about an early version of Resident Evil 1.5. Well, good news is that the team has not received yet any C&D letter from Capcom. What really surprised us, though, was the dedication of this team in this project and the fact that they’re experimenting with some ‘modern’ ideas. As a result of that experimentation, Resident Evil 1.5 might feature a third-person camera viewpoint, similar to the one of all recent Resident Evil games. You can view a video from a really early version of it below. Enjoy! Continue reading Resident Evil 1.5 – Bonus Third-Person Camera Similar To RE 4-6→
Yesterday, we informed you about the leaked version of Resident Evil 6’s benchmark. Capcom was quick to react and has – finally – officially released this benchmark. Those interested can download it from Nvidia’s GeForce website. Naturally, if you have already downloaded – via other means – there is no point in re-downloading as nothing has been changed; the benchmark that was leaked yesterday was the real deal and not an early version of it. For obvious reasons we cannot share the download links, but we are pretty sure that most of you will be able to find it. Apparently the download links are not working right now, but some managed to download it and share it with others. RE6 runs in DX9 mode and you can view some screenshots from it – courtesy of Guru3D’s member ‘JonasBeckman’. Enjoy and stay tuned! Continue reading Resident Evil 6 PC Benchmark Leaked Online→
