Great news for PC gamers as Capcom’s Svensson has revealed some interesting – apparently new – information about Resident Evil 6 and Resident Evil: Revelations HD. According to Svensson, Resident Evil 6 will be getting a benchmark tool, just like DmC Devil May Cry – and pretty much every Capcom title – did. Svensson believes that the benchmark will be available before the game’s launch, and stated that we’ll be getting some PC screenshots and videos in the coming months. Capcom has revealed today that Resident Evil: Revelations will be coming to home consoles and PC on May 24th. Resident Evil: Revelations sees the return to survival horror, offering a tense and intriguing gameplay experience. Taking place in 2005, between the events of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, the action centers on BSAA (Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance) member Jill Valentine and introduces her new partner, Parker Luciani. YouTube’s member ‘pipocaVFX’ has recreated the Bricks Bonus Stage from Street Fighter II Turbo. Ironically, this video looks so good (and so close to the real deal) that could easily pass as a mod for Street Fighter 4. Naturally, this perspective might make you dizzy as that’s the biggest problem of FFPP (Fighting First Person Perspective) games that feature a complex set of moves. Capcom has released a new, CG trailer for DmC Devil May Cry. The game is planned for a January 25th release on the PC, and the PC version will be compatible with both keyboard and mouse, Xbox 360 controller and all third party direct input controllers. Capcom has announced that the PC version of Resident Evil 6 will hit PCs this March (March 22nd, 2013). According to the Japanese company, the PC version of RE6 will feature all console content as well as any future content that arrive as free title updates (such as the No Hope mode). Or at least that’s what the company aims, because we all know what happened with Street Fighter x Tekken’s updates.
