That’s hilarious. PC gamers have been waiting patiently for the PC version of SFxT and now that they have it, they can’t even enjoy it as Street Fighter x Tekken PC suffers from the same issues that were present in the console versions at their time of release. And although those issues have been fixed on the console versions, Capcom has not applied those fixes on the PC version that was delayed. This basically means that PC gamers will have to wait even more, especially if they want to enjoy the online mode of SFxT. Man, I really feel sorry for Capcom. Yesterday, the PC version of their amazing mashup between Tekken and Street Fighter got leaked but that shouldn’t be an issue as SFxT is slated for release in a couple of days. Not only that, but SFxT is all about the online fights and naturally, those with pirated versions cannot enjoy them. Which is a good thing mind you. What really surprised us today though was the fact that another Capcom title got leaked before hitting stores. Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City PC has been leaked to various torrent sites, two weeks before release, and is fully playable. Evolution is THE event for fighting fans. Each and every year, we get amazing matches between some really hardcore and astounding players and back in 2004, a moment was meant to be written in history. It was at that time when Daigo revealed his fury and monstrous skills in his Street Fighter III: The Third Strike match with Justin Wong. That was an unforgettable moment and to our surprise, the creators of anime Acchi Kocchi recreated that moment in it. Below you will find both the original video and the footage from Acchi Kocchi. Enjoy and keep in mind that Evolution 2012 is almost around the corner! Continue reading Evolution 2004’s Epic Moment #37 recreated in anime Acchi Kocchi→
Capcom has released the first episode of an animated short film for Street Fighter X Tekken. This first part shows some of the game’s characters and explains Shadoloo and Mishima Zaibatsu are fighting each other. It looks cool, but the animated short is only available in English. We strongly believe that there should be a Japanese version and hopefully Capcom will release one. In other news, Street Fighter x Tekken is slatted for a May 11th release. Enjoy! Capcom’s Svensson and Yoshinori Ono have released some interesting new information about the upcoming PC version of Street Fighter x Tekken. According to Ono, the PC version will not include the DLC on disc. A lot of fans began wondering the reasons behind that and Capcom’s moderator ‘Deva Ashera’ shared some thoughts about it. According to Deva Ashera, PC gamers are used to downloading large patches, which is what the DLC characters will end up as and that the worry about hard drive space is not as big of deal as on consoles since the game will be mainly distributed via digital stores. As we’ve said so many times, we love live action short films. And today we bring you a Mega Max X live action short that was made by Olan Rogers. This is all independently made as Rogers didn’t have a lot of money but he decided to do it anyway. Rogers had 700 dollars, two green sheets, an amazing prop maker, two actors who worked for free and one of his friends who helped with the animations. For that kind of budget, this short film looks great. Enjoy! Continue reading Mega Man X gets a fan-made live-action short film→
We hate to be the bearers of bad news. Unfortunately though, a nice co-op feature that was found in the PS3 version of Street Fighter x Tekken won’t find its way into the upcoming PC version. Local co-op allows two players to go online as a team on one console and play. This feature is not supported in the X360 version of the game and as Capcom’s Christian Svensson revealed, it won’t be included even in the PC version.
