And with the upcoming release of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, gamers started to think that the Capcom they knew was dead. Capcom is ashamed and wants to forget that awful PC port of Resident Evil 4

Wow, now this is something interesting. We’ve known for a fact that the PC port of Resident Evil 4 was awful, since its development was outsourced to Sourcenext, but it’s shocking to hear that Capcom is so ashamed of it, that they’d prefer to simply forget about it and not make it available to any digital stores. Yes, Resident Evil 4 was one of the worst ports we’ve ever seen and in par with Sourcenext’s other PC ports, like Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition and Onimusha 3: Demon Siege, but we certainly didn’t expect that reaction from Capcom. SSF4: AE 2012 PC Update will feature all the upcoming bug fixes that are coming to consoles

As you may have noticed, it’s February and as Capcom promised, the highly anticipated SSF4: AE 2012 PC update will be rolled out in a couple of weeks. And since the company has revealed that a new patch will be released on February 21st for the console versions of SSF4: AE 2012, a lot of gamers began wondering whether or not the PC update would feature those fixes. Resident Evil 6 Officially Revealed; Coming this November

Capcom has just revealed the sixth part of its legendary Resident Evil series. Oh yeah, Resident Evil 6 is real and is coming this November. Alongside the game’s announcement, Capcom confirmed that RE6 pairs Leon S Kennedy and Chris Redfield together, and is scheduled for release on November 20, 2012. Naturally, expect a delay for the PC version (although Capcom hasn’t stated anything at all for the PC). Oh, and check out its reveal trailer after the jump! New Street Fighter x Tekken Screenshots & Videos

Capcom has released some brand new screenshots for their upcoming mashup fighting game, Street Fighter x Tekken. In addition, and as promised, Capcom has also revealed some new characters for their game via two new trailers that can be viewed bellow. As always, the trailers are mind-blowing and show how talented – and clever – Capcom can actually be. In fact, all those cinematic trailers of SFxT make me wish for a proper anime series, based on this mashup. Man, that would be really cool. Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition 2012 Update coming to the PC in February

Capcom has just revealed that the highly anticipated 2012 rebalance patch for the PC version of Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition will come out next month. PC gamers have been waiting for almost a month and it seems that they’ll have to… you know… wait another one. According to Capcom themselves, the development team ‘has been cracking the whip on this project, and are aiming to have the 2012 update ready for you all by the end of February‘. Capcom released today a new trailer for their upcoming Resident Evil game. Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City delivers a true third person team based shooter experience set within the dark and sinister Resident Evil universe and a reinterpretation of the events depicted in Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3.
