The Witcher 3 – Draw Distance Won’t Be Adjustable, No Plans For DX12 Support + 4K Resolution Screenshot

Gamepressure has updated its “The Witcher 3” FAQ with some new information from CD Projekt RED about this highly anticipated RPG. According to the developers, PC gamers won’t be able to adjust the game’s draw distance. CD Projekt RED claimed that most distances (e.g. for meshes) are set in assets, meaning that while there will – probably – be presets to choose from, there won’t be a slider for draw distance itself. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Off-Camera Footage from PC Version

Yesterday, NVIDIA held a GDC Conference that was underwhelming to say the least. During that conference, CD Projekt RED showcased the PC version of The Witcher 3. In fact, this video was perhaps the only amazing thing coming from that conference. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was running on NVIDIA’s Grid cloud system in order to show its potential. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Official PC Recommended Specs Are For Mid-High Settings At 1080p

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is one of our most highly anticipated games of 2015. However, it appears that PC gamers will need a really beefy rig in order to enjoy 60fps with max settings. According to CD Projekt RED, the game’s recommended specs are not for its Ultra settings, meaning that there will be very few gamers able to enjoy it at its Ultra settings. The Witcher 3’s Art Producer: “No Downgrade, We’re Optimizing In A Way That Doesn’t Affect Visuals”
