CD Projekt RED has just wrapped up their Spring conference for 2012, and it’s been chock full of news from all of the companies in the group. Witcher 2 developer CD Projekt RED have revealed that they will be giving away an iOS comic set in the Witcher universe; The Witcher: Enhanced Edition is coming to the Mac platform; CDP RED have started a “Write your own review” program where they are giving away 1000 copies of the anticipated The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition for Xbox 360 to enthusiast reviewers, all owners of The Witcher 2 will receive a complimentary backup copy of their game on DRM-free digital distributor GOG.com, the pre-download of The Enhanced Edition patch for The Witcher 2 will start before April 17th and Polish developers showed gameplay footage from the upcoming Edition of the game. As promised, CD Projekt announced in their conference event that they’ll be giving away for free a legendary RPG. What is that RPG game? Well, it’s the classic RPG from Brian Fargo, Fallout. Fallout will be available for free in the next 48 hours via GOG, so go ahead and get it while you still can. The first Fallout is being made available via GOG that was recently re-designed. The new GOG has new looks, features and a faster downloader. GOG is also supporting the indie scene and will be bringing all the latest indie games, as well as all old classic games. CD Projekt RED has just announced that The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings has sold 1.1 million units to this date. According to the company, the game was successful and met comercial acclaim. The Witcher 2 was welcomed by all gaming sites and publications and was welcomed by all PC fans. The Witcher 2 was released back in May 2011 for the PC, meaning that it managed to hit the one million goal in almost a year. Oh, and the game won’t features horses as the company has just revealed. Man, the changelog of The Witcher 2’s enhanced edition seems to be really long. Yesterday, CD Project RED released its first part and today we got the second one. In total, there are 100 fixes, additions, improvements and tweaks for the PC version of The Witcher 2 that will be included in this upcoming update. CD Projekt RED has revealed the key features changelog of the The Witcher 2’s PC Enhanced Edition. Among other things, the Enhanced Edition features a launcher that includes an option to toggle DLCs off and on, a new werewolf trophy in Chapter 3 and lots of fixes. As we’ve said and before, the Enhanced Edition will be made available to all PC owners of The Witcher 2 for free in April 17th. You know what guys? Forget every other PC RPG and go get The Witcher 2 (that is if you haven’t purchased it already). Yeah, it’s a fantastic game but what’s more amazing is that CD Projekt RED will offer you the upcoming Enhanced Edition for free. The Enhanced Edition comes with new characters, new locations, extended outro, new adventures, new cut-scenes and lots of other features. Seriously now, companies like BioWare and Capcom decided to cut major content from their games to sell it afterwards as DLC and made a lot of money.
