Cloud Imperium had announced that CitizenCon would be put behind a paywall as gamers would have to purchase an e-ticker (that would cost them $20) in order to watch the Citizencon presentation live. Chris Roberts tried to explain the reasons behind this, however – and after a big backlash – he decided to completely open the CitizenCon 2018 streaming to all Star Citizen members. Star Citizen Alpha 3.3 releases on October 10th, Chris Roberts comments on pay-to-win accusations
Cloud Imperium has announced that Star Citizen Alpha 3.3 will release on October 10th. This upcoming alpha build will be made available during the CitizenCon 2018, and Cloud Imperium has updated its future release roadmap. As such, the team now aims to release new builds in Q1 end of March, Q2 the end of June, Q3 in October with CitizenCon, and the Q4 in mid-to-late December. Star Citizen 3.2 alpha is now available for download on Early Testing Servers
Cloud Imperium has released a new alpha version of Star Citizen on its Early Testing Servers. Star Citizen 3.2 alpha focuses on three major features: Mining, Group System and Quantum Linking, and comes with improved turrets, the ability to Quantum travel at a planet, the inclusion of 600i and the ability to scan areas.
