Spotted by PC Gamer, Creative Assembly has prepared a massive patch for their acclaimed strategy game, Total War: Shogun 2. Now here is another great developer that does everything to fix and improve his game. This patch will add three new castles and eleven new battle maps and is scheduled for release later today, alongside the game’s DLC. Alongside its announcement, SEGA released some brand new screenshots for their upcoming downloadable campaign. Total War: Shogun 2 – Rise of Samurai adds a brand new playable campaign to Total War: Shogun 2, as well as four new hero units, four new agent types with their own skill trees and new land and naval units for the Online mode. SEGA announced today that ‘Rise of the Samurai’, the first Downloadable campaign for the critically acclaimed, Total War: SHOGUN 2 will be available on digital platforms from September. According to the press release, the Total War: SHOGUN 2 – Rise of the Samurai campaign is set 400 years before the dramatic civil war depicted in SHOGUN 2.
