Call of Duty meets Sniper Elite V2 in this new gameplay teaser for Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2

It’s really funny, but Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 was meant to hit streets before Sniper Elite V2. City Interactive, though, decided to delay its sniper title, and presented today a new gamepaly teaser for it. Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 feels like a mix between Call of Duty and Sniper Elite V2. It seems heavily scripted and – as the title suggests – players will rely on their sniper rifle. Unfortunately, the bullet balistics seem as basic as they can get, and we’re pretty sure that most players will be disappointed with them. Unless of course City Interactive has implemented a ‘hardcore’ difficulty mode. Enjoy! Continue reading Call of Duty meets Sniper Elite V2 in this new gameplay teaser for Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2

Crysis 3 – Single Player ‘Fields’ Walkthrough

Electronic Arts and Crytek have released a new SP trailer for Crysis 3. In all seriousness, Crysis 3 looks astounding and beyond anything we’ve ever seen (at least in terms of visuals for vanilla PC games). Destructible objects? Check. Bendable vegetation? Check. Wind effects? Check. Anamorphic lens-flares that can easily blind you? Check. To put it simple; C3 looks gorgeous, even if its alpha stage (as Crytek suggests that this footage is from its alpha build). Crysis 3 is planned for a February 2013 release on PC, X360 and PS3. Enjoy! Continue reading Crysis 3 – Single Player ‘Fields’ Walkthrough

Cevat Yerli admits that Crysis 2 had no huge levels due to the success of other linear games

PC gamers, this is a good day today as Cevat Yerli has finally spilled the beans and revealed – in an interview with Eurogamer – why Crysis 2 did not feature huge levels, similar to those found in the first Crysis game. According to Cevat, Crytek believed that the sandbox experienced (offered by both Far Cry and Crysis games) was perceived as something of an elite gamer kind of thing. Crytek got disappointed as other, more linear, games were selling better than Crysis and decided to join them. Crytek has released a new trailer for Crysis 3, showcasing the games heart-pounding Hunter multiplayer mode. Featuring five two-minute rounds, Hunter mode is 2 vs. 10 on console (2 vs. 14 on PC) and starts off by pitting 2 Hunters against CELL Troopers. Aliens vs Predator Recreated In CryEngine 3

Sweet Jesus. That’s what I said when I saw what YouTube’s member ‘Dave P’ has managed to achieve with CryEngine 3. So, get ready for a treat everyone because this modder has recreated the first mission/map – from the Marine campaign – of the first Aliens vs Predator PC game in CryEngine 3. Yes, yes, this is something most of us have been waiting for and ironically, this looks as good – if not better – than the upcoming Aliens game that is being developed by Gearbox. The attention to detail is simply gorgeous, so make sure to watch it. Truth be told, there aren’t any xenomorphs but then again, Dave P promised more things to come. Hopefully, we’ll some aliens in his next video update. Enjoy! Continue reading Aliens vs Predator Recreated In CryEngine 3
