Crysis fans, we’ve got some good and some bad news for you today. The good news is that Crysis 3’s MP alpha stage will begin in a couple of days (November 2nd). The bad news is that you won’t be able to participate in it. Nvidia launched a give-away contest, in which the green team has distributed 5,000 keys to the first 5,000 people who signed it up. Our reader Crusnik8 has informed us about a new map for Crysis 2 that blends together Crysis 2 visuals with Mirror’s Edge parkour mechanics. This is a new multiplayer/singleplayer map, created by WaR_SPiRiT, where players can test their parkour skills in Crysis 2. Electronic Arts and Crytek have released a new multiplayer trailer for Crysis 3, in which producer Mike Read explains some of the new gameplay elements introduced to the Multiplayer Hunter mode of the game. Hunter supports 16 players in which two players are the hunters and 14 are C.E.L.L soldiers. Crysis 3 is currently planned for a 2013 release on PC, X360 and PS3. Enjoy! BeamNG has released a new, mind-blowing video for its next generation Soft-body Physics Engine. As we can see, this new engine will be ideal for a rally game and let us tell that it’s about time for Codies and Milestone to overhaul their physics engines in order to compete with it. Imagine a new RBR with this kind of physics. Now that would be F’ing amazing. According to the development team, there is no engine simulation yet and the jerky steering is due to using a controller as they haven’t added input smoothing yet. Enjoy!
