CRYENGINE 5.7 will support DirectX 12, Vulkan and Ray Tracing, to be available in Spring 2020

Crytek has updated its CRYENGINE roadmap, revealing that version 5.7 will add full support for DirectX 12 and Vulkan in Sandbox Editor, as well as the Ray Tracing effects that the team showcased via its Neon Noir tech demo at GDC 2019. Crysis 4 has been announced, powered by Unreal Engine 4, will be exclusive to Epic Games Store

Crytek has announced that Crysis 4 is under development and will be released in 2020. The team has collaborated with Activision – who has purchased the IP rights of the franchise from Electronic Arts – and will be using Unreal Engine 4 instead of its own in-house CRYENGINE. Crytek and Improbable are working on a triple-A multiplayer game using CRYENGINE and SpatialOS

Crytek has announced that it is currently working with Improbable for a new AAA game, built using CRYENGINE and SpatialOS. Crytek claimed that it is excited about the possibilities for developers offered by SpatialOS and its next-generation multiplayer gameplay, and this new game will aim to showcase these possibilities. Ghost Theory is going down as Crytek alters its Indie Dev Fund program, but developers are also to be blamed

Ghost Theory is another kickstarted project that will most likely never see the light of day, even though it did meet its initial Kickstarter goal. The game was meant to be a first-person adventure horror game in which players would investigate real haunted places. However, Dreadlocks made a terrible decision to switch engines and that is basically the main reason why the game may be cancelled. Crytek has released another big one for its Early Access online multiplayer bounty hunting game, Hunt: Showdown. In conjunction with the new release, Hunt: Showdown will be on sale for 25% off on Steam from December 13th at 10 am PT/ 1 pm ET/ 7 pm CEST to December 19th at 10 am PT/ 1pm ET/ 7pm CEST. CRYENGINE 5.5 is now available, featuring SVOGI improvements and more than 1000 fixes

Crytek has released CRYENGINE 5.5 in a major update, available for download from its official website or via the CRYENGINE Launcher. CRYENGINE 5.5 arrives with 1158 fixes, changes, and improvements from the previous full release, and allows users to enjoy many of the features and enhancements used by the Hunt: Showdown game development team.
