German website Hardwareluxx revealed that Crytek’s upcoming PC version of Ryse: Son of Rome will support AMD’s Mantle API. This obviously does not surprise us as most – if not all – future CRYENGINE-powered games will support this API. Ryse: Son of Rome – Coming To PC This Fall, First PC Screenshots Unveiled

Crytek and Deep Silver announced today that Ryse: Son of Rome is coming to PC this Fall. While Crytek will publish the game on digital channels, they will collaborate with the co-publishing partner Deep Silver for the boxed version distribution to retail stores. In addition, all of the Ryse: Son of Rome DLC packages that have been created and released since launch will be included in the PC version. After Seven Whole Years, Crysis Remains One Of The Best Looking Games Ever [Screenshots + Mods]

After today’s news, we really felt the need to take a look back at the game that made Crytek the King of PC graphics. When it was released, Crysis was THE best looking game. Seven years afterwards and Crytek’s masterpiece still manages to put a lot of triple-A multi-platform titles to shame. Of course, the vanilla Crysis had some graphical shortcomings but thanks to its modding community, Crysis has easily evolved into a game that looks marvelous even to this date. Crytek Closes UK Studio & Downsizes Austin Studio, Frankfurt Studio Will Work On HUNT: Horrors of the Gilded Age
