Crysis 3 Multiplayer Beta Gets A Balance Patch

Crytek has just released an update for the public, multiplayer beta phase of Crysis 3. This patch is currently available on PC and PS3, and will be coming shortly on X360. According to its changelog, this is a balance patch that tweaks and improves a variety of weapons. Crytek also plans on introducing additional changes to the Crysis 3 Multiplayer and is happy with its Anti-Cheat detection system, though they are still encouraging people to submit screenshots with cheaters on the MyCrysis forums. Crysis 3 Gets Some New Beautiful Screenshots From Its Single Player Campaign

Electronic Arts has released a new set of screenshots from the Single Player campaign mode of Crysis 3. Needless to say that it looks brilliant, though we kind of wonder whether Crytek will address some of the game’s performance issues. We’ve seen various drops in both the MP mode and in Crytek’s itself SP trailer that was released a while back. Hopefully, AMD and Nvidia will be ready for this graphical juggernaut and Crytek will further optimize it for a wide range of graphics cards. Enjoy! It seems that EA and Crytek are doing everything they can to hype the latest iteration of the Crysis franchise. As a result of that, the companies have released a new trailer for Crysis 3 that focuses on the SP mode of it. Ubisoft Massive’s Artist Experiments With CryEngine 3 And Creates A Gorgeous Open-World Environment

To be honest, it does not surprise us to see artists from various studios experimenting with different game engines. Truth be told, they are dedicated to their teams but what happens when – and if – they get fired and are not accustomed to other engines? That’s right, it will be really hard to get a new work on another studio. So, today we bring you three screenshots (first three images) from Ubisoft Massive’s environmental artist, Cristoffer Radsby, who is currently creating an amazing open-world level in CryEngine 3. Man, it’s hilarious what a simple post can get you into. Crytek’s ‘CalamariDinosaur’ has made a bad joke on the official MyCrysis forums that got a lot of PC gamers annoyed. Obviously, CalamariDinosaur was simply joking when he said to an SLI owner to buy a X360 as the PC version of Crysis 3’s beta did not run in SLI. However, that got quickly out of hand and PC gamers decided to give Crytek the middle finger for suggesting something like that. Great news for PC gamers as the Multiplayer Beta of Crysis 3 is now available. The bad news is that you’ll have to download the beta via Origin, and we do know that some of you hate EA’s service. Nevertheless, those interested will have to head over to the ‘Store’ and then to the ‘Demos’ section. Crysis 3 Beta should be the first downloadable demo, so click on it and download it.
