Cattus, unknownexe96 and Evie Shudder have shared some screenshots and videos from their latest recreations in Unreal Engine 4. Cattus is currently remaking an environment based on Mirror’s Edge, whereas unknownexe96 has showcased Silent Hill 2 in Unreal Engine 4. Dark Souls Overhaul Project is a huge texture overhaul pack and is now available for download

Modder ‘SageIchigo’ has released Dark Souls Overhaul Project version 4.5 for Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition. According to the modder, this mod changes all the textures in the game with HD versions or re-imaginings of the textures, while still trying to retain the Souls feeling. There won’t be any discount for Dark Souls Remastered PC, despite Bandai Namco’s store page indicating otherwise [UPDATE]

Dark Souls Remastered’s reveal is by far the worst we’ve seen in recent history and that’s because Bandai Namco is constantly changing crucial details about it. One of them was HDR for PS4. Initially, the publisher claimed that Sony’s console would support it but now there is no mention of such a thing. Naturally, this doesn’t really matter for us PC gamers, however, the next change that the publisher has done affects all previous owners of Dark Souls PC. Dark Souls Remastered will feature 2K unconverted textures on the PC

Bandai Namco and FromSoftware have revealed some additional details about Dark Souls Remastered. Dark Souls Remastered will be discounted by 50% to all PC owners of the first game

Earlier today, Bandai Namco revealed that Dark Souls Remastered will be coming to the PC on May 25th. Naturally, and given the awful initial state of the PC version of the first Dark Souls game, a lot of PC gamers wondered whether this would be a free upgrade for them. Well, contrary to the Bioshock remasters, Dark Souls Remastered will be a separate product. However, there will be a great discount for all PC owners of the original game. It appears that Kotaku has spoiled Bandai Namco’s surprise. According to the publication, FromSoftware and Bandai Namco will officially reveal Dark Souls Remastered in a few hours from now, and this remaster will be coming to the PC in May 2018.
