Dead Island: Riptide releases tomorrow and we’ve prepared a Performance Analysis that covers – naturally – its PC version. Dead Island: Riptide is powered by the Chrome 5 Engine, an engine that powered Call of Juarez: The Cartel and the first Dead Island game. And since it’s the same engine, it will be interesting to compare the original Dead Island with Riptide, and see whether or not Techland has addressed some of its issues. Metro: Last Light – Ranger Survival Guide – Chapter 3: Weapons and Inventory

Deep Silver released today the third chapter of Metro: Last Light’s Ranger survival guide, in which the company showcases the weapons that will be featured in this FPS title, as well as its inventory system. Metro: Last Light is currently planned for a May 17th release on PC, PS3 and X360, and promises to push the graphical boundaries on the PC front, with an upgraded and better optimized engine than the one featured in Metro 2033. Dead Island: Riptide promises to bring back the explosive mix of open-world gameplay, co-op first-person action and RPG elements to fans worldwide. Deep Silver released today the second chapter of Metro: Last Light’s Ranger survival guide which aims to prepare the player against the hostile inhabitants of the Metro, both human and mutant. While deadly creatures control the desolate Moscow wastelands, the human survivors, having splintered into extremist factions, gangs of bandits, and the order of Rangers, try to maintain a hold on the tunnels of the Metro. To stand up to them, the player has the choice: will he try to sneak past the threats, save their lives and rare ammunition, or will he seek direct face-off to wipe them out once for all. Enjoy! Deep Silver has released a new set of screenshots for Techland’s upcoming zombie title, Dead Island: Riptide. Techland’s title is a great looker, especially due to its colorful environments. Yes, the game uses a – somehow – dated engine by today’s standards (and we’re pretty sure that there will be some LOD issues similar to its predecessor), however we get a ‘Crysis meets Far Cry’ feel from those freshly released shots. Dead Island: Riptide will be released on April 23, 2013 in the USA and Canada and on April 26, 2013 in European countries for PC, X360 and PS3. Enjoy!
