Battlefield 4 – Final Stand DLC To Be Playable On October 16th, New Screenshots Surfaced

Electronic Arts and DICE have released a new set of screenshots for the Final Stand DLC of Battlefield 4, and revealed that this DLC will be out playable on October 16th (at least for those who participate in its CTE event). Final Stand will feature futuristic technology and is set in the snowy expanses of Russia. In addition, this DLC will offer four new maps: Operation Whiteout, Hammerhead, Hangar 21, and Giants of Karelia. Moreover, players will be able to use secret prototype weapons and vehicles, including a hover tank and a rail gun. Enjoy! Battlefield 4 – Fall Update Gameplay Video

DICE and Electronic Arts rolled out a big update for Battlefield 4, and in order to celebrate, the companies have also released a video dedicated to it. Battlefield 4’s Fall Update improves players’ movement, reduces visual recoil of guns, and packs several tweaks for the game’s network code. In addition, a classic mode has been added. Battlefield 4 – Game & Server Update September 30th Detailed

DICE has revealed the changelog for today’s Battlefield 4 update. DICE will be updating the game itself and its servers on all platforms, and there are some specific fixes for the PC version. This update brings a lot of vehicles improvements, weapon rebalances and fixes, brings a better post-processing filter for medium graphics settings, and adds a FOV slider for the chase cameras of all vehicles. In a Reddit IAMA, Tim “stormonster” Kjell, a 26 year old Swedish Game Designer that worked on games like Battlefield, Mirror’s Edge, Frostbite, Medal of Honor and more, answered a lot of questions surrounding the games he’s been involved with. In addition, Tim talked a bit about EA’s influence on DICE, the launch issues that Battlefield 4 faced, and offered an explanation as to why we have not received any mod tools for all Frostbite-powered games.
