According to industry insider Tom Henderson, DICE pitched Battlefront 3 to EA for its next title. However, the publisher has shot it down due to licensing costs. Battlefield 2042 Update #1 released, full patch notes revealed

DICE has just released the first update for its latest BF game, Battlefield 2042. According to the release notes, this patch implements Server Side upgrades that aim to reduce instances of Rubber Banding. Moreover, it reduces instances of stuttering when playing on Breakaway (something we mentioned in our PC Performance Analysis). Battlefield 2042 will feature Ray Tracing on PC, first PC trailer released

NVIDIA and DICE have just announced that the PC version of Battlefield 2042 will feature Ray Tracing effects. According to the green team, DICE will use Ray Tracing in order to enhance the game’s Ambient Occlusion. Moreover, the game will also support NVIDIA’s DLSS and Reflex techs.
