One of the most annoying things in Battlefield 3 is definitely the flashlight effect, an annoying and unrealistic effect that DICE has added. After a lot of complains, the company has promised to tweak it and today, the Core Gameplay Designer on Battlefield 3, Alan Kertz, released a comparison between the default flashlight the tweaked one that will be featured on the upcoming update of Battlefield 3. DICE and Electronic Arts have just informed us – via Battlefield 3’s Facebook page – that they will roll out new updates for their game that will affect PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 players. As a result of that, there will be a maintenance at 2 AM PDT and will last until 3 AM PDT. During this maintenance, Battlelog and online multiplayer services for PC will be unavailable, whereas online multiplayer services for PS3 and XBOX 360 may experience intermittent issues over the hour-long period.
