Donkey Kong Country Mod For DooM Looks Super Cool, New Gameplay Video

Modder ‘DooMero’ has informed us about a new gameplay video for his upcoming Donkey Kong Country mod for Doom. As the title suggests, this mod recreates Rare’s classic SNES platform title in Doom. Thankfully, DooMero is stay true to the game’s roots, meaning that you won’t be experiencing the world of DKC in first-person mode. It looks cool, though there are some bugs here and there. Brutal Doom Keeps Getting Better & Better – New Video Shows “Ragdoll Physics”

There is no doubt that Brutal Doom is – thus far – THE BEST mod ever created for id Software’s classic FPS title. Modder ‘SGtMarkIV’ has released a new video for the next version of Brutal Doom that will feature “ragdoll physics” effects. Naturally, these are not real physics effects, just a simulation of the effect. Still, it looks great and adds a lot to the overall atmosphere. Brutal Doom – New Video Shows Improved Blood Particles

Modder ‘SGtMarkIV’ has released a new video for the latest version of Brutal Doom, showcasing the new and improved blood particles that will be featured in it. According to the modder, the blood has been further modified to make it have a better liquid aspect, and make the bleeding on amputations more realistic (with arterial blood spurting out from the wound). Do note that the blood dripping sound will be reduced in the final version. Doom Reborn Is A Doom 3 Mod That Aims To Recreate Classic Doom Titles In id Tech 4

Bethesda has announced that Doom 4 (or plain DOOM) is under development and those who pre-order Wolfenstein: The New Order will be able to participate in its beta phase. Since that beta test won’t launch anytime soon, it is the perfect time to remind yourselves what Doom is. And while the classic Doom titles are still awesome (especially thanks to Doomsday and ZDoom), a new mod aims to somehow modernize the series. Our reader ‘Cristian Fabian Munoz Isla’ has shared with us some new details for his amazing mod for Doom that brings Resident Evil’s characters to it and changes the game’s camera perspective from first to third person. According to Cristian, this mod is 99.5% complete, so hopefully we’ll be getting it next month. Brutal Doom is THE mod for id Software’s classic FPS title. Created by modder ‘SGtMarkIV’, this mod brings a new meaning to the word ‘gory’. SGtMarkIV is currently working on a new version for it and has showcased the blood decals that will be featured in it. As you can see, these new decals are better than those featured in the vanilla version.
