Brutal Doom Looks Ludicrously Amazing – New Video Showcases Blood Decals On Sprites

Modder ‘Sergeant_Mark_IV’ released a new video, showcasing a new feature of Brutal Doom that will be implemented in its next version. As a result of Sergeant_Mark_IV’s work, all decorative actors and objects – in other words, all 2D sprites – will be covered by blood when players explode an enemy to pieces. Brutal Doom looks ubber sexy, and gives a new meaning to the word ‘brutal’. There is no ETA yet about Brutal Doom v19b but we’ll be sure to keep you posted. Enjoy! Mortal Kombat DooM – Demo Is Now Available

Cristian Fabian Munoz Isla has informed us about the demo of his Mortal Kombat mod for Doom (that is playable with zandronum, skulltag, zdoom and gzdoom). As Cristian told us, this demo version contains MK1, MKII and UMK3, and 6 maps (3 console rooms and 3 arcade room maps). Mortal Kombat DooM can be played on 1 on 1 or tag team ( 2 vs 2 with 4 players), and some finishing moves (fatalities, friendships and babalities) are already supported. Mortal Kombat DooM Now Supports MK1, MK2, UMK3 & MK Trilogy – New Footage Unveiled

Our reader ‘Cristian Fabian Munoz Isla’ has informed us about the latest version of his Mortal Kombat mod for Doom. According to the modder, this mod now supports all four classic 2D MK games: Mortal Kombat 1, Mortal Kombat 2, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 and Mortal Kombat Trilogy. Rage3D’s member ‘ChubZ’ (also known on YouTube as ‘Chubzdoomer’) has released a new part of his amazing ‘If Doom was done today’ series. These clips gives us an idea of what id Software’s classic shooter would look like with today’s standards. As you can easily notice, it’s a completely different game that may appeal to a certain group of players. On the other hand, most of us cannot stop laughing with this parody of today’s shooters. Brutal Doom V1.9 Has Been Released

Modder ‘Sergeant_Mark_IV’ has finally released the latest version of his amazing brutal mod for id Software’s classic shooter. This new version of Brutal Doom comes with new fatalities, new smoke effects, improved blood decals, much improved melee combat, new animations for a number of enemies, and adds sticky gibs. Mortal Kombat DooM Gets New Footage

Our reader ‘Cristian Fabian Munoz Isla’ has shared with us a new video from his upcoming Mortal Kombat mod for id Software’s classic shooter, Doom. Cristian has added the umk3 chars, and is now working with the final moves (babalities, fatalities, friendships, etc). In addition, Cristian aims to create the artifitial inteligence for the singleplayer mode of his mod, while he’s also exploring the idea of adding MK Trilogy to his MK project. Mortal Kombat Doom – New Footage Released, Global Version To Include MK1, MK2 & UMK3

Cristian Fabian Munoz Isla has released a new video from his upcoming Doom mod that aims to bring NetherRealm’s classic MK games on id Software’s FPS. This new video shows off UMK3 that was recently added to this mod. According to Cristian, the global version of this mod will include Mortal Kombat 1, Mortal Kombat 2 and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. From what we’ve seen so far, MK1 feels great, whereas MK2 and UMK3 have some latency and hit detection issues. We don’t know if Cristian can fix them, but they do sometimes break the overall experience. Still, MK1 looks good so that’s a good thing at least. Enjoy!
