Sergeant_Mark_IV has released a new version of his mind-blowing Brutal Doom. This new version features many fixes, better particles for fire and smoke, more gore, and new things like a system that rewards the player with bonus health and armor for doing vile things such as torturing enemies near death (a funny thing to do is to blow off the leg of a zombie, and when he is crawling trying to escape, set him on fire, or melt him with plasma gun). Ah, the good old Doom. A game that was created by a twelve-man team from Texas. A game from an unknown (at that time) company that was meant to change FPS games forever. Have you ever wondered of what would happen if you could mix together Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 with Doom? Well, time to find out. This following video is in fact from a real Doom mod – called Real Guns Advanced 2 – that was released for iD’s little baby a while ago and as you can see, the similarities with Modern Warfare 2 are incredible. Although the modernized weapons feel out of place and are not designed carefully, it’s kind of cool to play Doom this way, right? Enjoy! Continue reading Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 meets Doom→
Okay, you’ve seen some Doom 3 mods that tried to recapture the feeling of Doom’s 2D versions, like the Classic Doom. But have you ever wondered how Doom 3 would look like if it was ported to the original Doom engine? Well, here comes DeathFactoryX with his Revenge Of Evil TC mod for GZDoom. And let us tell you that it looks very close to Doom 3. We should note that the resources were created by Doomero and not the mapper. You can enjoy a video with the finished Map 01 for the TC “Revenge Of Evil” after the jump. Maps 02, 03,and 04 are currently on the drawing board and a playable demo might be made available after the completion of five maps.
