Valve released a new beta update for their upcoming action RTS, DOTA 2. This new update comes with the addition of Lycan and enables Shadow Demon in Captain’s Mode. This update adds a commendation system, which allows players to commend others who made their game a happier experience, and report anyone being hostile. Valve has just announced that DOTA 2 will be publicly playable at this year’s GamesCom and that there will be an international tournament for it. The International will feature the 16 best Dota teams in the world competing in the Dota 2 Championships through a group stage, double elimination playoff format over the course of Cologne’s five-day trade show (August 17th – 21st) and it will be broadcast in four languages (Chinese, German, Russian, and English) free of charge.
