DICE pitched Battlefront 3 to EA but was shot down, two story-driven single-player Star Wars games in development

According to industry insider Tom Henderson, DICE pitched Battlefront 3 to EA for its next title. However, the publisher has shot it down due to licensing costs. Battlefield 2042 Update #1 released, full patch notes revealed

DICE has just released the first update for its latest BF game, Battlefield 2042. According to the release notes, this patch implements Server Side upgrades that aim to reduce instances of Rubber Banding. Moreover, it reduces instances of stuttering when playing on Breakaway (something we mentioned in our PC Performance Analysis). Battlefield 2042 is currently available to those that have pre-ordered the Gold and Ultimate editions, and will be made available to everyone on November 19th.
