Yesterday, we informed you about the HD version of Age of Empires II and today we are delighted to present you the game’s announcement trailer, as well as the first details about it. Yeap, Age of Empires II HD is for real and is coming on Steam. The game is said to feature remastered visuals in HD, multi-monitor support, Steam workshop support, and an improved multiplayer mode. Now here is something really interesting. A HD version of Essemble Studios’ classic strategy game, Age of Empires II, has appeared on Steam’s registry. This HD version was added yesterday, on March 5th, and according to Steam’s registry, this will be a gift and not a proper game.
